Doran served as the General Contractor for Wangstad Commons, JO Company’s second affordable housing project. Completed in November 2024, this development brings 54 affordable and supportive housing units to the City of Brooklyn Center.

Wangstad Commons features one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom units designed for households earning 30%, 50%, and 60% of the area median income. Each unit includes modern conveniences such as a washer, dryer, and balcony. Community amenities include a fitness center, community room, and below-grade and surface parking options.

Located adjacent to Wangstad Park, the development offers residents easy access to outdoor recreation while just minutes away from a bustling commercial corridor with national retailers and dining options. The project was built to meet SB 2030 standards, underscoring its commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency.
