Dinkydome

In 2019, Doran undertook a noteworthy renovation of the Dinkydome, a long-standing landmark at the University of Minnesota’s Minneapolis campus entrance. The project involved not only cosmetic changes but also the repair of the distinctive glass dome skylight, the update of electrical and heating systems, and the installation of an elevator to service the three-story building. The renovation of the Dinkydome created much-needed construction jobs during the recession and significantly improved the neighborhood.

For its remarkable work, the Dinkydome renovation was awarded the Best Overall Project and the Best Multifamily Development and Redevelopment – Market Rate in 2010 from the Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal Best in Real Estate Awards.
