DORAN breaks ground on new multifamily development in Plymouth
176-unit design-build project is being developed by Doran
Plymouth, MN – Doran Companies began construction on a 176-unit multifamily project in Plymouth. Doran is developing, designing, building, and managing the project located at 10010 6th Avenue N., in the northwest quadrant of Highway 55 and Highway 169.
In March Doran received unanimous approval from the Plymouth City Council to construct theseven-story building overlooking Bassett Creek.
“The City Council approved a comprehensive plan amendment to allow multifamily on the site in addition to the existing office building,” said Tony Kuechle, Doran’s President of Development. “Our project will provide new housing options in Plymouth and support existing commercial activity in the neighborhood.”
Doran Architecture designed the building with a mix of alcove, 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom apartments and active community spaces, including co-working areas, an entertainment suite, a clubroom, fitness center, sauna, pet spa and an outdoor amenity deck with pool, spa, and grilling stations.

The project will be managed by Doran’s property management team, Whitecap Management,and is anticipated to open in Spring of 2024.
