Doran Construction completes Hermantown store and Eau Claire airport hanger for Menards

(Bloomington, MN) Doran Construction recently completed two major projects for Eau Claire, WI., based Menards, Inc.:
The demolition of an existing 145,000 sq. ft. Menards store in Hermantown, Minnesota and subsequent construction of a new 203,000 sq. ft. store on the same site. The project was completed in just 22 weeks. Doran project manager Matt Parten said, “the project was particularly challenging, not only because of the tight timeline, but because it was also built on a difficult site.”
The second project was a new 30,000 sq. ft. airplane hangar located at Chippewa Valley Regional Airport near Menards’ corporate headquarters in Eau Claire, WI.
Other recent project that Doran Construction completed for Menards, include a 193,000 sq. ft. new store in Coon Rapids, MN. and a building exterior remodel in Fridley, MN.
