January 2009 Projects Most Ever for Doran Construction

Company also wins STARR award for LA Fitness project
(Bloomington, MN) Awarded seven construction contracts totaling nearly $5 million, Doran Construction completed its most successful January in the company’s seven year history.
The new projects include:
LA Fitness facility at the former Planet Ford site in St Louis Park. This 62,000 sq. ft. state of the art sports club was designed by Architects 222 of Chicago, Illinois and is scheduled to open in June 2009.
An office build-out on the 13th and 14th floor of the Fifth Street Towers in Minneapolis for the Messerli and Kramer law firm. This 26,000 sq. ft. office space was designed by Wilson and Associates and is scheduled for completion in April 2009.
Also this month, Doran Construction was awarded the 2008 Minnesota Shopping Center STARR Award in the category of Interior Retail over 50,000 square feet for the construction of the Burnsville LA Fitness.
