Kelly Doran has shifted his focus to Multi Housing from retail in recent years. His latest project is the 412 Lofts at the U of M campus in Dinky Town. As Doran says, “In the Minneapolis–St Paul market there’s a need for additional multifamily housing, particularly in the core communities.” After the much recognized success of renovation of the historic Dinkydome and the addition of the adjacent Sydney Hall apartment building, Doran continued his work at the University with 412 Lofts. Now another project is under construction in Stadium Village, called the Edge on Oak, and a fourth project is in planning stages. As a Gopher alumni, Doran is exciting to be bringing cutting edge student living to the University of Minnesota.
